01.com fetched $1,820,000 at VIP Brokerage which makes it the best-selling domain for the year so far. The number two slot went to another .com — Physician.com, for $179,000 at Sedo. Overall, the chart was dominated by gTLDs this time with .com domains taking the upper hand. Thus, E77.com was sold for $25,000. Among non .com gTLDs, Train.info fetched the highest price of $12,483 taking up the fourth spot.

New gTLDs made their only appearance at number eight with Blade.shop for $10,000.

The ccTLD market was somewhat quiet for the past weeks. Three .ai domains (Anguilla) sold for $6,999 via Sedo: Calendar .ai, Meet.ai, and Invest.ai. These were closely followed by Blog.co.uk which sold for $6,479.

All in all, a good week for domain sales showing that the domain market is picking up speed in 2017.
